Although essentially a property investment guide, the individual house buyer or consumer who wishes to buy a house or apartment for his or her own use could also pick up a lot of good pointers from this book before making a choice. I am a life insurance man. There are some similarities between buying life insurance and property investment. They both provide shelter for a family, one in the form of protection and the other provides a safe place to live. Both accumulate assets over a long period, and they are in one way mutually exclusive and yet dependent on each other to co-exist. I guess that is the reason why Renesial has asked me, an insurance man for over 24 years, to write a few words for her book.

Like many others, I too have made many mistakes in property investment. The difference between Renesial and me is that, she learns from mistakes in property investment, and I don’t. When I read her book, it just gives me a “hard knock”. How I wish I have read such a guidebook earlier. Then, I will not be in so much pain.
